Every year children from all over the Midlands, and further afield, come to experience interactive educational tours led by our professional Museum Educators on curriculum-linked subjects.

Our tours and activities are suitable for children working at primary school level. These subjects include World War II Homefront, Coal Mining, Toys & Games Past & Present, Habitat Discovery and Stone Age to Iron Age. Every tour includes hands on experience of real artefacts, as well as the chance to explore our displays and take part in interactive workshops.
