Move a mile each day in March for your mental & physical wellbeing

We want to get the whole of Selby moving in March and aiming to achieve ‘a mile for me’ each day. Not only is physical exercise a great way of keeping fit and staying mobile, it is also great for your mental wellbeing, providing a chance to de-stress and also boost your mood.


How will you move a mile?

How you achieve your mile is up to you, whether it be by walking, jogging, running, swimming (or any other form of physical exercise) or maybe a mixture of them all, the most important thing is you get moving!

Don’t worry, we understand that sometimes a mile each day just isn’t achievable, as life and other commitments get in the way, but any and all extra endeavours are sure to have a positive impact on both your physical and mental wellbeing. So just do as much as you can!
